Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager - Production
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Production department as an Assistant Manager at our Port Qasim Plant.
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Production will play a key role in overseeing the production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve targets and objectives
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations
- Analyze production data and provide insights for informed decision-making
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
- 5-6 years of experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably in a production or operations role
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of production processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Location:
The position is based at our Port Qasim/Gharo plant. Candidates residing in nearby areas, such as Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Steel Town, Shah Town, and Navy Society, are encouraged to apply.
