Job Opportunity: Data Scientist / Data Analyst

Job Description:

A leading organization is looking for a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Data Scientist or Data Analyst. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decisions and optimizing business strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Data Analysis and Trend Identification

   • Utilize statistical tools to analyze data sets and identify trends and patterns to enhance revenue scalability.
   • Focus on ROI-driven decision-making by interpreting data to provide actionable insights.

2. Data Visualization

   • Create impactful data visualizations to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions to stakeholders.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

   • Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to implement high-value business solutions.

4. Data Mining and Optimization

   • Extract and analyze data from company databases to improve business strategies, particularly for up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.

5. Predictive Modeling

   • Apply predictive modeling techniques to enhance customer experiences, maximize revenue generation, improve ad targeting, and achieve other key business outcomes.

6. Business Acumen and Communication

   • Use strong business acumen to mine large datasets for valuable insights.
   • Present findings clearly to stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Experience:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
  • Proven expertise in data mining and analysis.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in R, SQL, and Python.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques and operations research is preferred.

• Competencies:

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Educational Background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative discipline is a plus.
