Job Opportunity: Procurement Officer
HBL Microfinance Bank LTD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Administration Department as a Procurement Officer.
Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of supplies, goods, and services for the bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate suppliers, their offers, and contracts to ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of supplies
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with procurement laws, regulations, and bank policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a banking or financial institution
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
