Job Opportunity: Senior Planning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading planning activities, assisting in claims and disputes, and coordinating with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Summary:
The Senior Planning Engineer will play a key role in planning and scheduling project activities, ensuring timely completion, and identifying potential delays. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning and scheduling, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning activities for the project, including developing and managing project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting
- Assist the Planning & Cost Control Manager and Project Manager in claims and disputes, including performing delay analysis and preparing supporting documentation
- Coordinate planning and scheduling needs with project managers in a matrix organization
- Finalize project baseline schedules in collaboration with internal management and project consultants using Primavera P6
- Prepare and float tenders, execution strategic plans, and evaluate offers for infrastructure and construction projects, including high-rise buildings and villas
- Develop and deliver dashboards and management presentations to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering ((link unavailable) / B.E.)
- Minimum 10-15 years of work experience in planning and scheduling in a building construction company
- Knowledge of FIDIC is an added advantage
- Proven track record of delivering delay analysis exercises, dashboards, and management presentations
